The fair will celebrate 67 seasons of family fun with midway rides, Great Lakes Timber Show, motorsports, pro wrestling, local entertainment, Extreme Fear ScareGrounds haunted house (Friday – Saturday), community exhibits, contests and favorite fair food.
Highlights include the 34th Annual Cheerleading Competition (6:30 pm Tuesday); Extreme Shock Pro Wrestling (7 pm Wednesday); 24K Cowgirls Equestrian Drill Team (7 pm Thursday); Rockreation Therapy (6:30 pm Friday); Demolition Derby (3 pm) and Motocross Racing (6 pm) on Saturday ($10 Motorsports Entrance Gate fee).
Fair admission: $6 Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday; $7 Saturday; free for kids 4 & younger
Dollar Day (Thursday): Admission and rides are $1 each (10-ride minimum purchase).
Unlimited ride wristbands are $25. Ride tickets are also available on the midway.
* Free admission for ages 6-18 on Wednesday from 5-7 pm
* Free admission Tuesday – Thursday from 5-7 pm for ages 62 & older and vocational rehab residents + 1 chaperone
Fair hours are 5-11 pm Tuesday – Friday and 1-11 pm Saturday at the Lenoir County Fairgrounds, 401 Fairgrounds Road in Kinston.
