The Chowan County Regional Fair will celebrate 78 seasons of family fun at the American Legion Fairgrounds in Edenton with live music including East Wind (6 pm Saturday), midway rides, Tiger Encounter show, a petting farm, animal barns, magic shows, pageants, community exhibits, antique farm displays, circus train displays, vendors and favorite fair food. Fair admission: $8; $6 online in advance; free for kids under 36″ tall. Unlimited ride wristbands are $25 ($22 pre-sale).
