Our Country Critter of the Week is Oliver!

Sponsored by Terri Alphin Smith & Co. with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage

Meet Oliver! Oliver is a 3-year-old domestic shorthair male tabby. He is super affectionate and has a good temperament.  Oliver has been at the shelter for over 2 months and is patiently waiting for his furever home.

Oliver is FIV positive. FIV is feline immunodeficiency virus. With this virus, Oliver can live a long and happy life, however it causes him to have a lowered immune system. Because of this Oliver must be the only cat in the home and must be an indoor ONLY cat. FIV can be spread to other cats but CAN NOT be spread to humans or dogs. Since Oliver has been waiting so long for his special home, his adoption fee is only $50. This will include FIV testing, neuter, microchip, vaccines, flea treatment, and a deworm.

Oliver is with Pitt County Animal Services. If you would like to learn more about Oliver or make him part of your furever family, give them a call at 252-902-1726- Mondays through Fridays and make an appointment. Appointments are 1P to 4P-Monday through Fridays. The shelter is located in Greenville at 4550 County Home Road.
