E47 3/20 8:28– Local mom & former member of our radio family, Brittany Cass has a positivity movement called #BoldLikeBritt where people run & walk miles. She’s a pilot’s wife- she has 3 small children- she was hit by a drunk driver.. and after being life-flighted to Vidant has had numerous surgeries… She will have at minimum a 12-18 month recovery .. and that’s for walking and getting back to any sort of normal life. She is currently still in a wheelchair and unable to bear any weight. She had set a personal goal of over 2000 miles to run this year. Obviously, that goal won’t happen now. NC Hope lets you know within 10 minutes if you qualify- most people do- the income limit is 80% of your county medium-income- VERY generous! NC Hope is also accepting tenant referrals from landlords.. so if your tenant is having issues making the monthly rent.. you can help possibly get them assistance.
