Wayne Carlyle

I guess I’ve been at WRNS almost as long as I have fingers and toes! It sure seems that way. I don’t like to dwell on the years as much as the memories. Believe me, I have plenty of those. After years of working in rock radio, I found a home at the only country station I ever worked on. It was the best career decision of my life. I hope to continue to make WRNS my home away from home for many years to come. In addition to having the greatest job on earth, I also have an incredible wife. Kristi has been my best friend for many years and puts up with my long hours and constant discussions of the radio business. That’s why I included her on my page. Plus, she makes great home made biscuits!

I want to thank each and every one of you for making WRNS
t-h-e most listened to radio station in all of Eastern N.C.  You are the most loyal listeners anyone could ask for.

Sincerely,
Wayne
